The residue was purified by flash column chromatography with 5% methanol in dichloromethane as eluant to give the title compound (1.2 g, 99%) as a yellow foam; 1 H NMR (DMSO-d6, 300 MHZ) delta 8.54 (d, J=2.2 Hz, 1H), 7.97 (dd, J=2.2, 9.9 Hz, 1H), 7.77(m, 1H), 7.50 (d, J=9.0 Hz, 1H), 7.44 (s, 1H), 7.24 (d, J=7.75 Hz, 1H), 6.90 (m, 1H), 3.78 (s, 3H), 3.33 (br s, 2H), 2.80 (t, J=7.3 Hz, 2H), 1.93 (m, 2H); IR(KBr) 3300, 1520, 1330, 1240 cm-1; MS (m/e) 395 (M+).
